The two things are not identical. In the seventeenth century, apprenticing, home tutors, and other non-school options were common forms of education.
This is one of the areas that is very much actively being worked on. Our September 2023 Salon (a monthly call to discuss a specific topic of interest) is focused on education, so there should be an update after that, but it may not happen until after our October visit to Mannington.
